How did LeBron James think he would escape getting made fun of for his Instagram post after the NBA Finals? How? Especially considering all of the factors involved.
For one he shaved his head to hide his receding hairline; second, the facial expressions are pretty priceless; and finally, it really got popular the day of the Warriors’ championship parade in an attempt to divert attention to LeBron himself.
He teed it up nicely and now the internet is smashing him down the fairway. Just observe what one comedian posted this week on Instagram.
But don’t leave out some other NBA athletes. Giannis Antetokounmpo and his brother got in on the action.
In a move to clear cap space and likely prepare for the arrival of Lonzo Ball, the Lakers are trading guard D’Angelo Russell and center Timofey Mozgov to the Nets for center Brook Lopez and the 27th pick in this year’s NBA Draft, according to The Vertical.
The Lakers will shed the final three years of Mozgov’s four-year, $64 million contract, along with a young starter in Russell, as they begin to target big names via trades or free agency. Lopez is on an expiring contract, making him an unrestricted free agent in 2018, the summer when LeBron James and Paul George will be unrestricted free agents.

Any permissible renegotiated or extended player contract will not be considered a rookie contract, and will not be subject to the rules that limit rookie contracts.
