NBA trade rumors: Carmelo Anthony wants Rockets deal, not Knicks return

Carmelo Anthony wants out.

And he has made that abundantly clear to the Knicks, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski (via the New York Post).

Anthony “has made it clear to them: I want to go to Houston. I am not interested in talking to you about being reincorporated back into this New York roster,” the NBA insider paraphrased Anthony’s mindset on “SportsCenter.”

The assessment came a day after the new Knicks braintrust was said to be thinking about keeping Anthony in an effort to wait for his trade value to climb after months of bad-mouthing by former team president Phil Jackson.

LaVar Ball, however, has absolutely zero concerns about Fox, especially after Lonzo’s impressive summer league.

“Have you heard about De’Aaron Fox? Hell nah,” LaVar said on Fox Sports Radio when asked if his son purposely “ducked” the Kings and Fox this summer. “You can’t hear about him unless he puts my boy’s name in his mouth. He been doing all this stuff and ain’t nobody been talking about him. So he and his dad gotta link themselves to us to be relevant. De’Aaron Fox had a whole season and the only thing they talk about is 39 points against Zo. You don’t put Zo in a sentence, nobody cares about him.”

Fox had a nice summer himself averaging 11.8 points and 3.0 assists in 21.3 minutes Cheap Mountain Bike Jerseys per game. In his debut game he went for 18 points (7 for 16 from the field), four assists, three rebounds, five steals and a block in 27 minutes.
